Description
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for PC is a tactical shooter, the eleventh in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series and a direct sequel to TCGR: Wildlands. For the first time in the franchise, the game's setting is not grounded in reality, as the developers wanted more freedom in creating different terrain types and other features.
Perryman has been sent to the island to investigate a series of issues that all seem to be connected to the mysterious military entity Skell Technology. The game is primarily played in third-person, though a first-person perspective is occasionally used for dramatic effect and to facilitate weaponry. When Perryman discovers that his main antagonist is himself a former Ghost, the stakes rise, and he realizes he'll have to fight for his life.
This game will be much more challenging for players who prefer a quieter life and prefer to stay on the sidelines of the action, forcing them to make extra efforts to avoid encounters. Enemy AI has been improved so that opponents react to the player more organically. Additionally, patrols move regularly, "searching" for the player and increasing the likelihood of sudden battles.
That's not to say you can't sometimes dodge obstacles: you can cut through fences, and the camouflage options are almost miraculous!
This game is heavily focused on survival, so you'll need to keep an eye on your character's hunger, hydration, and fatigue levels. The amount of time it takes for your character to recover after taking damage is realistic.
There is a regenerative health system that causes minor injuries to fade over time, but also causes more serious injuries to slow the character down, causing physical breakdown and making it more difficult for the character to aim their weapon correctly.
Game Information
The game is set on the fictional island of Auroa in the Pacific Ocean, an open world that allows the player a great deal of freedom to roam, explore, and search as they choose. The player takes on the role of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony "Nomad" Perryman, a Special Forces operative.Perryman has been sent to the island to investigate a series of issues that all seem to be connected to the mysterious military entity Skell Technology. Survive at all costs
The enemy has a stronger presence, moreover, enemies are more numerous and have access to the same weapons and equipment as the player, so they will enjoy the same advantages, including protection from certain attacks. This game is heavily focused on survival, so you'll need to keep an eye on your character's hunger, hydration, and fatigue levels. Some quick fun facts
The island setting is ideal: Auroa is part of an archipelago, allowing the developers to add islands as they please, modifying the maps as they go. Adding content and expansion packs is also nearly limitless. If you're sneaking around an enemy stronghold, you can kill guards without being heard and then carry off their bodies, hiding them so their companions won't discover your presence until you're ready to reveal yourself. The island setting doesn't limit the introduction of different terrain types: the island is home to a variety of biomes, each featuring a different type of landscape, from desert to snowy wasteland. You can play in three modes: solo with three AI companions, cooperatively with three other users as companions, or online with or against various strangers. New multiplayer options are periodically introduced, so keep an eye out for the next announcement.
