The Outer Worlds 2 is the sequel to Obsidian Entertainment's acclaimed first-person sci-fi RPG (just notice how many big words there are in that sentence!). It's time to clear your schedule: prepare for an adrenaline-fueled adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a whole new colony! So much new!

As a bold (and probably very charming) agent of the Earth Directorate, you must uncover the source of the devastating rifts that threaten to annihilate all of humanity. Your investigation will lead you to Arcadia, the birthplace of the projection drive technology, where the fate of the colony (and the entire galaxy) will depend on your decisions: your strengths, your weaknesses, your crew, and the factions you choose to ally with.

Explore a new frontier

The colony of Arcadia is torn apart by a faction war, as the so-called benevolent government of the Protectorate is challenged by a rebellion from its religious order and a corporate invasion. With devastating rifts spreading across the colony, each faction struggles to control or seal them to further their own agenda. Explore diverse environments, uncover hidden histories, and determine the fate of a system on the brink of destruction!

Command your way

Create your character with skills and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony will react to your every move, creating a story tailored to you: you can pursue diplomacy, be a brilliant strategist, unleash chaos, or take a completely different approach. And yes, you can even choose to be a complete idiot!

Enlist your companions

Recruit companions with diverse traits, backgrounds, and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their dreams or guide them toward your own goals, your influence will determine their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the engaging story you'll experience alongside them.
