The Cold War Crisis That Started It All
At the height of the Cold War, Naked Snake, the man who would later become known as Big Boss, infiltrates the Soviet Union to escort a defecting scientist, Sokolov. However, the mission fails when Snake's mentor, The Boss, a soldier known as the Mother of Special Forces, betrays him, leading to Sokolov's capture by GRU Colonel Volgin.

A week later, Snake returns to Soviet territory to rescue Sokolov and eliminate The Boss: a mission that will mark the beginning of a new legend, against the backdrop of the unstoppable advance of history.

Beautifully rendered graphics
Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the vast levels are built using cutting-edge technology. The new graphics are stunning, bringing the wilderness of jungles, forests, and swamps to life in exquisite detail. Characters are rendered in such detail that you can see facial wrinkles, pores, and even the distinct movements of their eyes and irises, all of which enhance the facial animations.


Realistic portraits
The combat damage system has been improved: wear and tear on Snake's clothing is displayed in real time, as are cuts, bruises, and gunshot wounds on his body. Snake's wounds leave a permanent mark, telling the unique story of each player's adventure.


Deeply immersive experiences
You can now choose a more modern control scheme. The controls are more intuitive, allowing you to fully focus on the game and the immersive thrills of this stealth survival experience. You can also opt for a classic control scheme, which more closely reflects the feel of the original game.

・SNAKE VS MONKEY
In this mode you will play as Snake and have to round up all the escaped monkeys that are roaming around each level!


・FOX HUNT
A brand-new online multiplayer mode, set in the same world as the main story. This new mode leverages stealth and survival elements to offer exciting hide-and-seek gameplay.


・Secret Theater
Find the 8mm reels, secretly carried by enemy soldiers, to unlock these hilarious versions of some scenes. You'll discover scenes from the original secret theater, as well as new videos.
