Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Set during World War II, the original Medal of Honor games have always stood out for their quality and dynamism, representing the foundation of the contemporary first-person shooter. Medal of Honor, and its subsequent narrative evolution, which moved to present-day Afghanistan, attempted in 2010 to bring the best of Electronic Arts' production to our screens by involving two different development teams for single- and multiplayer, and even two different physics engines, albeit with rather mixed results.
To give Battlefield a boost while also avoiding the overwhelming dominance of Call of Duty, the guys at Danger Close are back this year with a completely revamped title compared to its predecessor, leveraging the mighty Frostbite 2 and featuring a unique multiplayer component. This combination could have truly made the difference, but, as you'll read in our review, it exploded prematurely and without warning in the hands of the developers.
