Description
Call of Duty: Vanguard for PC is the eighteenth game in the Call of Duty first-person shooter (FPS) series. This game takes place after the death of Hitler and spans four theaters of war: the Western Front, the Eastern Front, North Africa, and the South Pacific.
The game's main protagonist is the villainous Heinrich Freisinger, who is supposedly based on the real-life villain Heinrich Muller, who ran the Gestapo for the Reich, displaying frightening dedication to his career and seemingly driven by ambition rather than ideology... While Hitler was in charge, in fact, he had a chosen successor, a political appointee, not, as this game implies, a spiritual successor to his plans.
This only proves that the Call of Duty franchise is close to exhausting the possibilities of pure historical fact and is increasingly moving towards the boundary between historical fact and pure fiction, as has already been explored in some of the "alternate timelines" that have appeared in other games in the series.
You'll play as one of four special agents—signaling the emergence of special operations teams—who manage over twenty maps in various areas. See more about the special operations troops below.
Good news for zombie lovers: they're back! There's also a brand-new Battle Royale with a brand-new map to fight to the death. Good news for those annoyed by players with cheat codes that are becoming nearly unbeatable; the game features a new anti-cheat system, so you can once again sneak up on people, dodge their bullets as much as the game's parameters allow, and hide from the most bloodthirsty opponents.
Sixteen of the game's twenty maps allow for six-versus-six matches, while the remaining four maps are dedicated to Champion Hill mode. The story campaign takes place on all four fronts, but the saga's finale reunites the four antagonists for a final scenario that ties up all loose ends.
Sgt. Arthur Kingsley is British, a member of the 9th Parachute Regiment, and inspired by the real-life paratrooper Sydney Cornell; Lt. Polina Petrova, a Soviet soldier of the 138th Rifle Division. Polina may or may not be a scorching sniper like her real-life inspiration, Lyudmila Pavlichenko, who was so good at it that she earned the nickname Lady DeathCap. Wade Jackson, from the United States, is a member of the Navy's Scouting Squadron Six. He's based on Vernon L. Micheel, famous for blowing up Japanese aircraft carriers at the Battle of Midway in the Pacific. And finally, Second Lieutenant Lucas Riggs, an Australian from the 20th Battalion, is based on the real-life hero Charles Upham, a New Zealander often hailed as the Commonwealth's most celebrated soldier, having won not one but two Crusades—one in Egypt and one in Crete. Call of Duty: Vanguard for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming at a fraction of its retail price. You'll receive an official key and be playing in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.
Game Information
The game is set after Hitler's death, just as the Allies are beginning to relax into the idea that they've won and the war is finally over. However, word has spread that Hitler, or at least his remaining allies and supporters, had a plan for just that. The project, codenamed "Project Phoenix," is underway to appoint Hitler's successor—who, presumably, will continue his nefarious plans for Aryan world domination.
