Description
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PC was first released in 2007, but it proved to be a very popular and well-made game, and its popularity has never waned. Recently remastered to take advantage of improved rendering and graphical interfaces, it is a first-person shooter set in an alternate (though very believable) reality in the present day, featuring the assassination of a Middle Eastern president that threatens to erupt into a global war.
Meanwhile, the assassination of the president of an oil-rich Middle Eastern country brings a pro-Western leader to power, replacing the previous leader, a man who detested the West in all its manifestations. The player's first mission is to capture this leader and lock him up, but the operation fails when a looping recording is found at the indicated location, not the actual man.
The next mission takes us to Russia to rescue a compromised informant. This mission is successful, but the party's helicopter is shot down in enemy territory, and the crew must find a safe place to escape. These two missions lead to the realization that there is a nuclear plot afoot that must be thwarted.
The palace of the Middle Eastern despot is stormed. The troops hope to gain more information about the nuclear device and the plans for its use, but they only manage to detonate it, devastating much of the city and its population. However, the despot is captured and executed.
Shortly afterward, it's revealed that he's been working alongside Russian ultra-nationalists all along. This gives the troops a new objective, and the game shifts to a nuclear setting, with the threat of nuclear bombs targeting the US East Coast. The game is thrilling and offers fast-paced gameplay. At the climax, the good guys take over the nuclear site and harmlessly detonate the missiles offshore.
However, the evil Russian has escaped and must be hunted down and taken away before he can kill any more innocent civilians, something he certainly shouldn't do frequently!
The weapons are the same as always, with small variations that make it feel like a different type of weapon, so even those new to the game can master each new gun or weapon without too much stress or fatigue. Starting with the initial tutorial, the improvements are obvious. From shooting at stationary cans and smashing watermelons, you now have to navigate an obstacle course that prepares you for the authentic missions that will soon follow. The game is now in full HD, and the cutscenes are well-framed. Your mission is tied to you, the consequences of your actions are much more realistic and exciting, more engaging, while the battle and combat scenes are now even more terrifying but still fun. Touching moments like witnessing the death of a comrade are now made even more heartbreaking, and you are given plenty of incentives to achieve your goals. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming at a fraction of its retail price. You'll receive a key that will allow you to play in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

What's new and what's not?
The game's narrative remains the same, and improvements have been made to the graphics and physics engines.
